GENERAL INFO<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bust-monument of Georgi S. Rakovski, \u201eKnyaz Boris\u2019 Garden\u201c - reserve of garden and park art (Government Gazette no. 96 of 1988) The bust is one of the first monuments from the Alley of Distinguished Bulgarians. \"The bust of Rakovski created for the Boris Garden in 1928 found its place in the center of his native city of Kotel in 1930. Loved by the public as the embodiment of this \"crazy dreamer, an impossible character\u201d, the bust was repeated several times in 1933 as well. was placed on a rock near the \"Fonfon\" hut on Vitosha and in the yard of the capital school of the same name (artificial stone), and on October 9, 1938, the monument in Vidin was consecrated.\" In his letter, Ivan Lazarov wrote, \"In Rakovski's bust, I conveyed the breadth of ideas and activity that we all feel in this giant of the Renaissance. He exudes that inner burning and business manliness that we know about Rakowski.\u201d According to K. Konstantinov, the head is carved \"with simple, bold lines.\" Source: Nikolay Boshev.
